I'm Back

Sorry for the absence - I've been trying to wrestle a senile seventy-something cowboy into giving up his guns and trucks, and getting him to accept daily assistance in his home. It's been a wild ride. I feel like I've been living in a Molly Ivins column. If this were one of those ultra-personal blogs, I'd go into details, but it's not, so I won't.

Now I can finally get back to all those art book reviews, San Francisco art shows, and artist interviews that have been on the back burner for far too long.

(Photo is from 1943, Llano, Texas - my Dad is the little guy on the right.)

Welcome back. I understand the family issues; I have similar problems with my mother.
