Animated Fresco

Seen on the Long Now blog: an impressive video, "Muto", by Italian street artist Blu It's made with hand-drawn animation, William Kentridge style, but this is done on the walls of public spaces, like the streets of Buenos Aires. An interesting twist in this evolution of "animated fresco" is the additional glimpses of time: street shadows, people walking in and out of the frame, and so forth.

That guy has set the homemade video bar so high it's blinding me to look at it.
